Casting the room already knows about

A teacher opens Ava and casts to the room they are standing in. No pairing code to hunt for, no dongle to find, no adapter to unplug. Students cannot see a display on the network, let alone connect to one, and when a teacher wants a student to present they hand out a single-use code from the front of the room.

Signage that thinks

Each screen shows what matters in that place at that hour. Schedules, announcements, menus and the rhythm of the day, without anyone building a slideshow every week.

Scheduled broadcast

Morning news plays together across rooms, pre-loaded onto every device beforehand so the network is not carrying it at the moment it matters.

Bell and day awareness

The screens know the schedule, including the days that break it. Assembly timetables and odd-even rotations change what is shown without anyone touching a screen.

Central control

Post to one room, a wing, a building or everything. Roles decide who can do which, and every action is recorded against the person who took it.

We usually know before you do.

Every device reports its own condition continuously and we watch all of it. When something starts to fail, the work of noticing does not land on your IT team, and neither does the diagnosis. Most of the time the fix ships before anyone in the building raises a ticket.

Network quality

Signal strength, link speed, the access point each screen is attached to, round-trip time, and dropped or errored packets in both directions. A room with a weak corner is a number, not a complaint.

Heat

Every thermal zone in degrees, against the temperature at which the device would start throttling. A screen cooking behind a cabinet door is visible long before it misbehaves.

Security

Outbound connections are counted and identified, and anything unrecognised is surfaced. Debug and USB access are reported as state, so nothing quiet stays quiet.

The device itself

Processor, memory, free storage and whether storage is still writable, uptime, installed version and pending updates. Failure modes that used to mean a site visit now announce themselves.

Updates roll out centrally. New versions install across the fleet without anyone visiting a room, and a device that was asleep or offline catches up when it returns.

Casting is checked, not assumed. The system confirms a screen is actually rendering, at what frame rate and resolution, rather than reporting that a command was sent.

Screens hold their own state. Each device keeps its schedule, signage and clock locally, so a network hiccup does not blank a wall.

Built for school networks

Nothing a student can find, and nothing about a student to lose.

Invisible on the network

No AirPlay, no Google Cast, no Miracast discovery. Students cannot see a display, let alone connect to one. Every session is opened by an authenticated staff member, and the port stays closed until it is.

No inbound anything

Displays make outbound connections only, so a room comes online without inbound ports, firewall exceptions, or changes to how your network is built.

It holds no student information

Students do not sign in, cannot send anything through it, and are never asked for anything by it. Content moves in one direction, from authorised staff to screens. There is no student record here to breach.

A student can still present

When a teacher wants a student to show their work, the teacher issues a single-use code from the front of the room. It works on campus, for that one session, and stores nothing about who used it.

Switching

Changing systems should not cost three years up front.

Schools are funded one year at a time. Most classroom display systems are not sold that way, and the ones that are usually keep the hardware.

You buy the device once, for $50, and you own it outright. Nothing to hand back at the end of a term, and no rented receiver that stops working when a contract lapses.

Licence is charged per device you hold, not per device that happens to be plugged in on a given day. Move a screen, store a screen, or take a wing offline for the summer; the billing does not change and neither does your entitlement.
