Ava Display holds no information about the people who see the screens. This page says what that means in practice.
The governing document is the Egosi OS Privacy Policy. Ava Display is operated by Egosi OS LLC, and that policy covers it in full, including the section written specifically for display deployments. This page explains what it means for a school or a workplace, and it does not replace or vary it.
Only what is needed to run screens:
Ava Display holds no information about the people who see the screens. Students do not sign in to it, cannot send anything through it, and are never asked for anything by it. Content moves in one direction, from authorised staff to screens.
This is a structural fact rather than a policy commitment. There is no student record in the product to disclose, to breach, or to request the deletion of, because the product never collects one.
A teacher can let a student show work on the classroom screen by issuing a single-use code from the front of the room. The code works only on the school network, only for that session, and expires when the teacher ends it. The student does not have an account, does not sign in, and nothing about the student is recorded.
Because no education records are shared with the product, the record-handling obligations that normally apply to a school vendor have nothing to attach to here. Where a school runs other Egosi OS products that do involve student information, those are covered separately and documented separately, with their own agreement.
Organisation data is stored on infrastructure we operate in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest. It is not placed in third-party marketing, sales or analytics systems. It is never sold, no advertising is shown, and one organisation cannot reach another. When a deployment ends, the organisation's data is returned or deleted.
Schools that require content and casting to remain inside the building can add Ava Display Edge, which keeps that traffic on premises with automatic failover.
An organisation controls who has access and what each role may do. Activity records exist for the organisation's own accountability and are visible to its administrators. Each screen signs in with its own device credential rather than a person's account, and any device can be revoked individually.
