The device arrives

One adapter per screen, already registered to your school before it ships. Nothing to image, nothing to unlock.

Plug it into the screen

HDMI and power. Join it to your wifi or plug in ethernet. That is the whole physical install.

It shows up on its own

The adapter reaches out, authenticates itself and appears in your console as an unplaced screen. Nobody types a serial number.

Place it in two clicks

Open the console, pick the room, confirm. The screen starts showing your signage immediately, and it knows where it is from then on.

Moving a screen later is the same two clicks. Placement is yours to change and never affects what you are billed.

How it connects

Two ways to run it, and the screens do not know the difference.

Most schools run the standard setup and never think about it again. Buildings with thin internet, or a policy that traffic stays on site, add the Edge. Same adapters, same console, same screens.

Casting and content stay in the building. If the Edge stops, screens fall back to cloud on their own.

A server in your building, for schools that need one.

Optional, and most schools do not need it. If your internet is thin, your building is large, or your policy says the data stays on site, the Edge changes where the work happens without changing anything you do.

Your data stays on premises

Casting and content are handled inside the building. For a district whose policy is that traffic does not leave the site, this is the answer, and it is a configuration rather than a different product.

It fails over to the cloud

If the Edge goes down, screens keep working by falling back to our cloud automatically. On premises is where it prefers to run, not a single point of failure you have to nurse.

Casting on a poor connection

Because the video never leaves the building, a teacher can cast on very little internet, or on a connection that is busy or unreliable. The screen in the room is metres away, and with the Edge the traffic goes that far rather than out to the internet and back.
