The safest answer to a student records question is not a promise. It is a product that never holds the records in the first place.
No AirPlay, no Google Cast, no Miracast discovery. Students cannot see a display, let alone connect to one. Every session is opened by an authenticated staff member, and the port stays closed until it is.
Displays make outbound connections only, so a room comes online without inbound ports, firewall exceptions, or changes to how your network is built.
Students do not sign in, cannot send anything through it, and are never asked for anything by it. Content moves in one direction, from authorised staff to screens. There is no student record here to breach.
When a teacher wants a student to show their work, the teacher issues a single-use code from the front of the room. It works on campus, for that one session, and stores nothing about who used it.
